Theodore Holland Intercollegiate Composition Award
This is a biennial competition open to outstanding composition students from the Royal Northern College of Music, the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Each institution nominates one candidate.

Lahti Symphony Orchestra – Sibelius Festival
I have been selected for Sinfonia Lahti's Nursery Garden initiative involving the Lahti Sibelius Festival. This means I will be commissioned to write a 10 minute long orchestral piece to be performed by the Lahti Symphony Orchestra in September. I will be working with Sebastian Fagerlund on this project.

Composer in Residence at ICon Arts Academy 2018
The academy runs in parallel with the ICon Arts Sibiu Festival, with workshops led by Joshua Fineberg, and culminates in a performance on July 31st in Sibiu during the ICon Arts Festival, at Thalia State Philharmonic Hall. This performance will also be broadcasted through internet live streaming on Enjoytv.Ro.
This year's academy focuses on a work for Fernando Mihalache (accordion) and Duo Cello Jaya (Ella Bokor and Mircea Marian).

From Meet the Artist: Established in 2012 by blogger Frances Wilson (“The Cross-Eyed Pianist”), Meet the Artist is a series of interviews in which musicians, conductors and composers discuss aspects of their creative lives, including inspirations, influences, repertoire, performance, recording, significant teachers and more. The interviews offer revealing insights into the musician’s working life and each one provides advice to young or aspiring musicians.
